Good glass deserves looking after, and this kit does two jobs at once. The flip-up caps cover the front and rear lenses of the ARO-EVO, keeping dust, rain, mud and the odd knock off the glass in transport or out in the field, then flip clear in one movement when you need the sight. Alongside them sits a honeycomb anti-reflection device, often called a killflash, which fits over the objective and cuts the glare and reflection that can wash out your view or catch the light at the wrong moment. It is a useful touch for stalking and pest control, where a glinting lens is the last thing you want. Made from lightweight polymer, it adds protection without upsetting the balance of the optic, and the clear front window means you keep a usable picture even with the caps shut.
